Dear Ron,

I am the songleader/choir director at Temple Sinai in Glendale, Ca., and
also play in bands around the L.A. area.  My songwriting is in the pop/rock
style, both in my secular and religious writing.   I wrote a Hanukkah song
called "The Miracle Of Hanukkah", which is based on the miracle of the
Maccabees defeating the Romans, as opposed to the usual miracle of the
eight lamps.  I have always thought that it would be a great starting point
for a musical.  Let me know if you would like a copy of the lyrics
e-mailed.  I am supposed to record it in 2 weeks (after all the holidays
are done) so it will be a few weeks before I can send audio to you.

I hope this is the kind of ideas you were speaking of in your post, as I'm
not trying to promote myself at your expense.  I just thought it was an
interesting coincidence that I have been wanting to make a musical out of
my Hanukkah song & idea.
