[HANASHIR:1418] Re: The one with the guitar

Dear Warren,

There may be more than one shule that has main services sometimes led with
a guitar in the UK, but the only one I've personally experienced is
Finchley Reform, where Jess Gold and others regularly lead Friday night
services, and Nina Maraney (nee Gottesman, who came to Hava Nashira a few
years ago) is the director of music who leads the choir with her guitar.
And it's great!

The only other service in the UK I have attended which uses something other
than organ (or nothing) is at North London Progressive Synagogue, where I
have song-lead a couple of times using a drum (and will be doing so again
on Simchat Torah).

Regards,
Rachel
