An accommodating favour

Hi Everyone,

We are just finalising details for our tour and I was wondering whether I
could ask a favour of those of you on this net group. I guess it requires
someone to take pity on us!

Our tour budget has gone into the red and we have 4 nights in New York
(either Manhattan or just North of). The July dates are:-

Wed 8th, Thurs 9th, Thurs 16th, Sat 25th

Well accommodation in New York is heavy going expensive. So I was wondering
whether anybody fancied opening their home to some very friendly, sometimes
amusing (very un rock and roll) musicians. There are three of us, 2 guys
and a girl and we are all good cooks. We are willing to share a room and
sleep on mattresses on floors etc.

If you feel like taking the challenge then we promise to talk a lot (so
that you can listen to our English accents) and we will bring a gift of
your choice from England!

Of course even if you can just offer us one nights accommodation we will
still be
very greatful.
