Rick Glauber is quite right. Go into most Orthodox synagogues and ANY
Lubavitch shul, and see how they pray. In our shul, we leave plenty of room
between daveners (congregants) to allow them the space to use their entire
bodies in prayer during the Amidah. Other times, like Simchat Torah or Purim,
and certainly Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, group dancing takes on a new meaning, as
almost no one stays in his/her seat.
Janice is right too!
How about some impromptu dance sessions at Hava Nashira? I would gladly bring
my boombox and some tapes! I am sure many of us know both old and modern
Israel dances...
See y'all soon
