Re: Singing Jewish music in church

My friends,

Most of the time I tend to just read the list and learn, enjoy, laugh, or
shake my head at many comments.  The tone of the recent discourse, singing in
church, has become judgemental and not educational, as the question was
initially posed.  A sincere question was asked, and personal response
requested.  To be aware of halacha as a base is not evil.  Let us remain the
Shaleach Zibor for our congregations and as others have done before us
constantly search ourselves for answers to questions that profoundly effect
not only ourselves but others.  I am not sure there is a universal right or
wrong to this question, but the essance of the intention was not to divide but
one of inquery.  

I aplogize for taking up so much of your time.
