Joel, you're exaggerating.   On the heaviest day, I saw only 20 EMs or so.
Do you check your mail every day?

I am on several lists, so I get over 100 EMs a day...

But I can just run through them quickly, in just a few minutes, and discard
the ones I do not want to read.

Otherwise, you COULD get a larger hard drive.

Or quit your full-time job!
