Having grown up in an Orthodox shul and now attending a Reform Temple, I am at
home in both...the separation of men and women feels natural in the Orthodox
setting...however, I wonder, will my children be that comfortable? A friend
recently told me she often brings her children to services in different
congregations (we have 1 Orthodox, 1 Conservative, and 2 Reform in Nashville)
so they will feel comfortable anywhere....I must remember to give my own
children that experience.
