I don't know if there is a program geared _specifically_ for aspiring
cantors, but there IS something called the High School Leadership
Colloquium (or at least that's what the weekend was called when I attended
it 12 years ago as a high school senior).  There is also a corresponding
college-level weekend that I attended 3 times, as well.  I highly recommend
both programs.  I have always said that those have played a major role in
who I am today regarding my involvement in my synagogues and the Jewish
community at large.  My suggestion is to go to the HUC web site (accessible
through Shamash if I'm not mistaken), and contact Rabbi Gary Zola, HUC's
director of admissions.  He was in charge of the programs when I
participated.  I guarantee it will be a weekend you'll never forget.
