To anyone I may have offended or hurt, intentionally or inadvertently, with
words or actions, silence or inaction in this past year or any previous time, I
offer my sincere and humble apologies.
Daniel Faigin, creator and owner of the Liberal-Judaism list composed the
following message, which most eloquently states the sentiment I wish to share
with you all.
"We all may not realize the effect that words have. Even electronic
words. Words that are to us innocuous may be hurtful to others. Although on
this list we try and moderate our speech so as not to offend, but we are
human, and others do get offended. On behalf of the authors of the submissions
over the past year, as well as on behalf of your humble moderator, please
forgive any inadvertent offense that may have been created by the words on
this forum."
5757 has been a good year, and one of growth. Hanashir has almost 100
subscribers, and over 300 now participate in l-torah (and another 100 receive
ld-torah.) I am honored to be a part of this caring and wonderful online
community.
May this be a good year for all of us.
