Yesterday's postings about "Pharaoh" choreography reminded me that we said it
was OK to promote special events.....so....
Steve Brodsky (Mah Tovu) and I have 4 concerts booked together this year - this
is #2:
Todah,
Robbi
Dear Colorado/New Mexico Colleagues and Friends:
I'm thrilled to be returning to Colorado and honored that I was
asked to sing for our troops. After Havdallah, Steve Brodsky and I promise an
evening of interactive, introspective, rockin' Jewish music! Grab a carpool and
c'mon down! Please tell your friends! Hearing a concert in this historical
magnificent chapel is worth the trip ....
b'shalom,
Robbi

Steve Brodsky (Denver, Colorado) in Concert!

Admission: Free! (Such a deal!)
Join us for the FIRST EVER concert of Jewish Contemporary Music at the
United States Air Force Academy!
Austin's Robbi Sherwin leads a double life as a full-time cantor and
touring Jewish contemporary recording artist. She has taken her
spirited Jewish songcrafting from Austin to Boston, Tulsa to Tel
Aviv. Robbi spent last year in Colorado, honing her cantorial skills,
writing music and loving the Rockies. She is currently recording her second
CD, Aish HaKodesh, (Holy Fire) and will preview selections as well as
sing favorites from her first CD, Todah LaChem (Thanks, y'all!). Robbi's
energy is
legendary and her eclectic mix of contemporary Jewish music varies in
style from pop to folk, rock, blues and beyond.
Steve Brodsky is one of founders of Mah Tovu, one of the top groups in
Jewish contemporary music today. He is known for his beautiful
honey-sweet voice and guitar skills. A Denver resident, Steve's
award-winning songs are classics in both worship and camp settings delivered in
his warm and wonderful folk/rock style. For the last three years, Steve and his
band have had overflow crowds attend Denver's Temple Emanuel "Shabbat
Unplugged" monthly services. Both of Mah Tovu's CDs, "Only This" and
"Turn It" have achieved critical acclaim and commercial success.
Together Robbi and Steve bring a special energy with terrific harmony
as we "Sing a new song unto God."
