[HANASHIR:16942] RE: My hat, it has three corners...

Yes, younger children get confused by leaving out the word, but they
sure get hysterical when they see YOU forgetting to leave out the word.
It's truly a fun time with kids (but don't overuse it).

I sing it:
"And if it had not 3 corners,
It would not be my hat!"

Jackie Silberg's "My Toes Are Starting To Wiggle" (a secular circle-time

songbook) has:
"And had it not 3 corners,
It would not be my hat."

Have fun with it by leaving out more words each time you repeat the song
and
instead substitute in a hand motion for "my," "hat," "3" and "corners."

Great that way for ages 4 and up and you'll have them all laughing.
Younger
children, however, get confused by the omitted words.

I can't find the rest of the words for this simple Purim tune: "My hat
it
has three corners, three corners has my hat... Would someone mind
telling me
the rest of the words? Thanks-
Shabbat Shalom-
