I am planning to teach this song in the near future.
In Shireinu, the "halleluyah" part is written out as:
so so do so - so so do so - so so do so - so so do so.
When I learned it (without written music), I learned it as:
so so do so - so so re so - so so re so - so so do so.
Also I sometimes sing it as:
so so do so - so so re so - so so ti so - so so do so.
If you have sung this in two-part harmony, does it work all three ways?
Which way is best? Comments please?
