[HANASHIR:16820] RE: A thought on attachments . . .



Steve is being nice. The simple fact is that list policy now prohibits the
sending of any attachments to the list without the prior consent of the
listowner (i.e., me!) I ask everyone to please adhere to this policy.

A suggestion to those who send attachments - please post them on a website
and provide the link when possible.  You can post to your own site, or
perhaps you can send attachments to our good friend Robin Selinger of
www.hotshabbat.com and www.totshabbat.com fame.  As long as copyright laws
or not being violated, I'm sure Robin would be happy to assist in posting
material -- right, Robin ;-) ?

This way those who cannot read attachments (either because of the digest or
[work] e-mail restrictions on attachments) can access the information at
their convenience.  It also won't clog up everyone's e-mail.  Just a thought
to help make things more efficient . . .
