Dear Friends and Colleagues,
 
Synagogue 2000 is pleased to invite you and your congregants to "Nefesh:  
Discovering the Soul of the Synaogogue Through the Arts."  This conference will 
take place June 21-24 at the University of Judaism in Los Angeles.  Nefesh is 
designed for both clergy and congregants who have a special interest in music, 
theatre and/or movement, and who would like to learn more about incorporating 
these arts into synagogue life.  Our faculty will include choreographer Liz 
Lerman, storahteller Amichai Lau Lavie, and music specialists Merri Lovinger 
Arian and Cantor Ellen Dreskin.  Participants will "specialize" in a single 
track, but have exposure to all of our teaching fellows through elective 
workshops,  dynamic worship, and full group programs.
