[HANASHIR:16788] Re: Jewish Love Longs

Joy,

I taught an entire class once on Jewish Love Songs from Around the World",
and incorporated all kinds of songs of love (not just love between people,
but also between Jews and God, Jews and Torah, Jews and Israel, etc).
Here's a list of songs from that curriculum:

Abanibi (Hirsh/Manor)
Adio (Ladino Folk)
Adon Olam (Traditional)
Ahavah Rabah (Traditional?)
Ahavat Olam (Friedman)
Ani Oheiv Otach (Jungreis)
Ani Oheiv Shokolad (Geffen)
Arise My Love (Friedman)
Az Der Rebbe Est (Yiddish Folk)
Dodi Li (Sher)
Dodi Tzach (Friedman?)
Eit Dodim (?)
Erev Shel Shoshanim (Hadar)
It's You (Friedman)
K'shoshana (Hadar)
Kumi Lach (Friedman)
Los Bilbilicos (Ladino Folk)
Mah Dodeich (Yedidyah Admon)
Makom Shelibi Oheiv (Sher)
Matchmaker (From Fiddler on the Roof)
Mitachat Lashamayim (Broza)
Od Lo Ahavti Dai (Shemer)
Od Yishama (Carlebach)
Tumbalalaika (Yiddish Folk)
V'ahav'ta L'reyacha Kamocha (Mah Tovu)
V'haeir Eineinu (Sharlin)
Y'did Nefesh (Zweig)

Hope that helps!
