Hi

Just want to say that Israeli's have adopted TU B"AV - 15th of the month of
AV - this year falling on August 2nd - as a Jewish Valentine's Day.
Fortunately for the more orthodox Jews, this date falls AFTER Tisha B'Av
therefore we can celebrate! I am hoping to instate a new tradition in my
shul for singing Jewish love songs on Tu B'Av this year - if I can get my
act together to find and learn some good songs by then! Songs off the top
of my head might include:

Abanee bee - as someone already suggested
Dodi Lee - or any songs from Shir HaShirim
Ladino Love songs

I would think that any songs expressing positive feelings about love
(between two people, of the land, of G-d) would be appropriate. Any ideas?

Rahel
