I want to second Beth's motion for a Larrivee guitar. I just got mine at the end of the summer and it's a dream. I have played an Ovation 6 string and 12 string for 20 years. I just wanted a new guitar. I use it everyday for my job and just wanted a change. I played Martin & Taylor. BOTH were excellent. Each time I played it, I was happy but when I went to play the Larrivee, I was in heaven. Major Music shops DON'T carry Larrivee. You have to go to your local mom & pop shop or go online to get one. Just type Larrivee. I think it's Larrivee.com You should check it out.

Well, if we're making endorsements, I'd like to recommend trying a >Larrivee. It is a light, well made guitar with a wonderful resonant >sound. I have a dreadnought that I play live and record with and am >very satisfied.
