[HANASHIR:16514] Re: Sixth Graders Sing?



In our congregation the family educator/song leader always asks the kids,
regardless of age, for requests out of the Shireinu.  We have many copies of
the Shireinu lyrics-only which we use instead of songsheets.  If you have
songsheets, you might ask the kids for requests from that.  If they don't
give a song, ask whether they're in the mood for a slow mellow tune or a
fast pick-me-up.  Usually works with both my 5th grade and post-b'nei
mitzvah groups.
