[HANASHIR:16506] RE: Early Childhood Developmentally Appropriate Practice

When I was in music education I used to teach "Challah in the Oven" (gonna
watch it rise) to pre-school and K with great success. It's an adaptation
of a Bill Russell (Canadian folk singer) song that was recorded by Raffi as
"Biscuits in the Oven". I can't remember if I got it from "Manginot" or
another source. It was a lively action song in the classroom, but I don't
know that I would have used it had I been leading a tot Shabbat service. I
will second the recommendation for Shabbat Shabbat Kodesh (which I found in
Velvel Pasternak's publication of Jewish Children's songs).
