To all on this list who have commented on various person's abilities or what 
they perceive to be dis-abilities.....   I would hope that as a group you would 
all be supportive of those who try to learn the craft as songleader.  If I 
hadn't done what many teachers told me I couldn't do I wouldn't be where or who 
I am today.  I was told I would never be an artist.  I made a living doing so.  
I was told I would never be a great opera singer, I have made a living most of 
my life singing various forms of music.  I am a professional.  As Fran said so 
eloquently it is wonderful to come from a place of giving and assisting people 
in their strengths.
I would hope that all of your abilities would serve the world to be kind to 
others, not put others down, shame them for trying to experience things they 
have passion for and serve as teachers for the greater good of all!
