Dear chaverim and chaverot - 
 
I was just catching up with the many unread emails that were in my Hanashir
inbox. It's a special treat to catch up with what's going on when I can take
a break from working. Shabbat is just about to come in here in Melbourne,
Australia - a very late summer dusk.
 
 
I came across Ellen's message and tears sprang to my eyes.

But then I kept going through the kind and caring responses from the list
and the tears were streaming down my face.
 
 
What loving and caring people are gathered on this list. Ellen, I hope that
the pain and heartache you have been suffering has been softened by the
remarkable outpouring of compassion.
 
 
One of the list members has a tag to her emails, a quote:

To everyone, and Ellen in particular,
