Hey All,

Sure the dinosaur song is a little schticky, but in its defense, I've found it
to be a great teaching tool to help my youngest music students focus on the
things we do on shabbat (candles, wine, challah, eating, prayers, singing
dancing). To help this along, when I sing the verses to this one, I usually
sing each line and then make the kids finish by singing the last word without
me.

Here's the version I use (slightly different from the one posted earlier) that
rhymes a little better and has a second verse:

There's a dinosaur knocking at my door
Knockin' one two three (kids make a knock-knock-knock sound with their
tongues/mouths)
There's a dinosaur knocking at my door
And he wants to have Shabbat
   He wants to have Shabbat
He wants to have Shabbat with me.

Oh he wants to light the candles and
He wants to drink the wine.
He wants to eat the challah and
With us he wants to dine!

Chorus

Oh he wants to say some prayers
He wants to sing a shabbos song
He wants to do a little dance
He just wants to get along!

Chorus
