My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mother at this time.  The only 
concept we have to grasp onto is the love that is left behind.  I too have 
suffered great loss and after several years that is what I remember.  The good 
times, the shared memories, and the love.  May you have that also.  It's great 
you got to spend some time with her.  May G-d lift her and you and your family.
