Dear Ellen - Shirona has expressed it really well. 
My mother died 12 years ago and the loss is always there.  We are brought 
face to face with our own mortality in an instant.You are indeed blessed for 
having had a supportive loving parent well into your adulthood. And you must be 
a 
blessing to her.
I will be thinking about you during this difficult time and will add your mom 
to all the prayers of healing that I participate in during the next while.  
We all send you prayers for her peaceful painless passing. Wishes for strength 
to carry on.
