thank you all for your suggestions, many of which were already on my list, 
but also some with which I am unfamiliar and will try to check out.   btw, 
Adrian, point about misheberach well taken (we had this issue with our students 
at 
Schechter thinking that misheberach was only the one for cholim)   however, 
you show me someone who finds "I love trash" healing and I'll sell you a nice 
bridge...cheap!    And yes, while many different songs can bring healing to 
different people, I was looking for liturgically based songs, since it is a 
synagogue service - so again, thank you to all of you who, for the most part, 
provided exactly the type of suggestions I was looking for.
And thanks Meris for the compliment - the sheet music to Avinu Shebashamayim 
(and many other of my songs) IS available from me, though not published.   if 
anyone is interested, contact me directly.
