[HANASHIR:16020] RE: Miriam's Song

I think Jeff Klepper has an arrangement which is inclusive of voices
of all genders which I vaguely remember from a Hava Nashira gone by.

On the lyrics issue....I'll withhold my male anger and mention
another Hava Nashira memory when Miriam's Song composer and lyricist
Debbie Friedman led a short lived effort to change the words to "and
the 'people' dancing with their timbrels"...and in the third verse
"and all the 'people' followed her just as she had planned."

From the Southern California chapter of 'Deb-heads',
