Hi Folks,
I wanted to publicly thank all of the performers who gave their time and talent
at the enormously successful UAHC Book & Music Store at the Biennial in
Minneapolis. We had a great line-up, including: Beth Schafer, Eric Komar, Larry
Karol, Steve Meltzer, Bruce Benson, Steve Dropkin, Dan Nichols, Larry Milder,
Rick Recht Band, Noam Katz, Lisa Levine, Mah Tovu, Peri Smilow, Laura Berkson,
Natalie Young, Neal Katz, Rabbi Joe Black, Mark Bloom, Doug Mishkin, and others.
We'd love to share the experience with all of you - go to
www.TranscontinentalMusic.com/gallery.html and you will see a lot of great
action shots of the performances, including a *free video (!) of Mah Tovu
playing live* in the bookstore.
Finally, I'd like to announce the publication of MUSIC FOR SHABBAT WORSHIP: THE
67TH UAHC BIENNIAL SONGBOOK, which includes all of the congregational Shabbat
music sung at Biennial. You will find a list of contents on our web site. It is
on sale through December 15, 2003.
Great to see some of you at Biennial. Thanks -
