Last year I spent a wonderful Shabbat at Temple Bet El in Madrid. They meet
on the second floor of an office building downtown. The "Temple" is nothing
more than a room that doubles as the Madrid headquarters for B'nai Brith.
Friday night services began at about 9:30pm (yes, 9:30pm), and the Oneg (at
11pm) was a table of tapas, which are Spanish style dinner courses. I
stayed till after midnite and met wonderful people.
