oops hit the send button by accident

the chuppah is the symbol of a jewish household, the traditional reason for 
the glass is to remember the distruction of the temple and that our joy can 
not be complete without the temple...

However, with a mixed marriage this is usually lost.  i add that the glass 
reminds us of the new entity of the couple.  They came in single.  they 
leave married.  just as the glass is broken never to return to the state 
where one could drink from it, so to, the two should never return to the 
being single.

btw....are they being married by a rabbi?  I am available this weekend...i 
live outside orlando.
