[HANASHIR:15722] Re: 25th anniversary celebration

Ben Steinberg's Shehecheyanu has a lovely choral setting from
Transcontinental, in Hebrew and English -- not too difficult for volunteer
choir, but challenging enough to be quite beautiful, memorable and enduring.
There is a chorded lead sheet version of it in the ACC Lifecycle Manual,
which is handy for solo singing, but the choral version is worth a try if
you have a bit of time to rehearse with your Youth and Adult Choirs. There
have been times when I needed a quick solo Shehecheyanu but there was
insufficient time for a whole piece and I have shortened it to sing just the
Hebrew. As a matter of fact, I sang it last night for the rededication of
our Temple Museum and it was just right.
