[HANASHIR:15632] Re: HANASHIR digest 2036

I am sitting in Wellington, NZ going crazy with envy (yeah, I
know...................)
What chance is there of music from these workshops being available to
off-shore unable-to-attend people??

This is also my first time going to Biennial. I can tell you, however, that
if you have a chance to sing in the Biennial choir, you should do it.
Cantor Richard Cohn is conducting and he is wonderful to work with.
Rehearsals start at 2:00 on Tues, and unfortunately I can't be there until
Thurs., so I will miss it.

I was also looking at the program and there was a lot that I was interested
in, music-wise. Unfortunately, many were offered at the same time in
Session "E".
Entering God's Presence: Making Music Work in Small Congregations
Before the Bima: Worship leaders Talk about Preparing to Lead Services
Hinei Mah Tov: Shabbat Morning Congregational Models
Sing a New Song: New Shabbat Melodies to Engage Your Congregations.

There are other items of interest in other time blocks. I just found "E"
the most frustrating in terms of wanting to be in more than one place at the
same time.

Hope to meet you in Minneapolis
