[HANASHIR:15564] New Sukkot Verses

Let me try this again, and this time I'll send you the new lyrics that I wrote.  Sorry for the inconvenience. 
 
Hi All,
Chag Sameach to you.  I was singing this week with my 1st graders and they wanted me to sing Doug Cotler's "Thank You God".  I asked them to help me write a new verse for Sukkot.  They helped me write the 1st verse, but then I went home and wrote the rest.  I thought I would share it with everyone.  Feel free to sing it in your Sukkah!

CHORUS:  Ba-ruch a-tah A-do-nai,

                   Thank you God.

 

Thank you for the Sukkah,

We love to go and see. 

We hang our fruits and veggies,

How happy we will be.

 CHORUS:

 

          Visiting the Sukkah,

          A Mitzvah we will do. 

          We?ll visit with our friends, 

          And have a snack or two.

CHORUS:

 

When we?re in the Sukkah,

Wave the Lulav up and down.

We?ll smell the yellow Etrog,

Knowing God is all around.
