[HANASHIR:15514] Re: Noah and the Rainbow

The info that I have for the "Unicorn Song" is by Shel Silverstein, Hollis
Music.
I have a recording of it from a CD called CAMPFIRE by The Folk Tradition. You
can find out more about them at www.TheFolktradition.com I think (but I'm not
sure, it has been a while since I visited their website) you might be able to
hear all of the Unicorn song through the website. They may also be listed at
CDbaby. Great song, good luck, I hope this info is helpful.

  Hello!

(and sorry it took me a couple of days...ahhhh)

Unfortunately I have no idea where you could find some of these, so if
anybody has ideas...PLEASE SHARE!!! I would really like to give credit
where credit is due. I do however have the lyrics/chords to all of them,
and..if you call me on the phone, would be more than happy to sing them for
you! (i know, way to go and suggest things I can't produce) Most of these
songs I picked up over the years, or got from the local Jewish nursery
school person out of a hand-made songbook.

Because there are so many songs, I am just going to post my thoughts on
where to find them. If you would like a particular song, please e-mail me
privately (joyzee (at) hotmail(dot)com) and I will send you the lyrics/chords
to that
particular song, as well as sing it to you over the phone if you would like.

  > > "Who Built the Ark - Noah Noah!"
        - NO idea where to find it.

"> > "Ten Little Animals" - to the tune of "Ten Little Indians"
       - It's a parody. I think all you'd need is the words/chords.

  > > "The Unicorn Song"
      - It's a classic. I just saw it in a Jewish songbook, I "THINK"
Manginot, but now I can't find it.

  > > "Brother Noah" - to the tune of "Farmer Brown"
       - It's a parody.

  > > "We're On the Way to Noah's Ark" - to the tune of Raffi's "We're On
  > > the Way
  > > to Grandpa's Farm"
      - It's a parody.

  > > "Rise and Shine"
        - Manginot

  > > "Sing a Song about a Rainbow"
       - This list-serve! Someone sent out a clip of it a few months back,
and I wrote down the words/attempted to figure out chords - it's AWESOME!!!

  > > "Oh Noah" - to the tune of "My Bonne Lies Over the Ocean"
      - parody

I'm sorry!!!!!!!! Once again, I have chords/lyrics to ALL of the songs, and
I know them, so I could sing them to you over the phone, but that's my best
bet! I was sort of hoping that I would jar people's memories, but....guess
  that didn't happen. ahhhhhhhh

  ~smile always~
