Certain inhalers do have the potential to cause hoarseness.  Flovent is one 
of them.  I have learned to ask my doctor about the potential side effects of 
the inhalers, particularly as certain ones that I used in the past are no 
longer being produced in with the introduction of newer, and supposedly more 
effective, medications --- and don't just go by brand names, because there are 
some 
similar or identical medications under different names, with the same 
potential effects.
