Wow Shirona that's really great -- and here's something I add to it --
Whenever the kids sing the word "Shana" they have to stand and then sit
right away (stand on "sha," sit on "na."). They clap twice on the word
TO-VA. They get so giggly - they just love it.
Great song!

If any of you know the Israeli classic "Shana Tova" (by Levin Kipnis) -
you
might like this version...
I changed the words to make them relevant for American kids, focusing on
teaching the names of family members while singing "Shana Tova".
Here goes:
Shana Tova le'ima (mother)
Shana Tova le'aba (father)
Shana Tova for the whole mishpacha (family)
Shana Tova la'olam! (world)
Shana Tova!
Shana Tova!
Shana Tova le'savta (grandma)
Shana Tova le'saba (grandpa)
Le'ach, achot, (brother, sister)
Le'doda ve'dod (aunt and uncle)
Shana Tova me'od!
Shana Tova!
Shana Tova!
It works.... the little kids (till 5th grade) love it, and so do the
teachers!
Shana Tova....
