[HANASHIR:15078] Re: cantorial certification

Dear Ellen and all,

I am currently in the ACC certification program...but began my journey about
12 years ago with virtually no Jewish background except my birth...though I
have done no formal study, I have always found qualified cantors and other
professionals to work with in my area...many of whom donated their time to
me since I had three children and very little income...for my Hebrew
studies, I found 2 other people interested in learning...we found our own
teacher...and it was fabulous...

While I am not the most knowledgeable in the world, if there is any way that
I can help any of you...guide you to books, work with you via internet
and/or phone...it would be my great privilege...just contact me privately.
