While I am not positive....and this should not be considered any kind of
professional and/or legal opinion....
I think that while you would need to gain permission of the artists, if for no
other reason that to thank and be respectful to the people who created the
music...I can't imagine that these artists would mind us playing their music.
I thought that was the whole point of having songleaders at our camps???
I understand that there is a distinction being made between playing music
during a Shirah and recording it to be sold...but even so I would think that
they would approve.
Maybe I am mistaken...anybody care to disagree?
