I received a phone call from this woman who is searching for a part-time
cantor in a Conservative synagogue in Long Beach, L.I., NY.  The info

I am following up on our phone conversation regarding our hiring a
female cantor for our synagogue.  We are looking to attract both young
people and older people who want more spark in the services. We cannot
afford a full time cantor at this time but would be interested in
someone to conduct Friday evening services. We would like to add music
to the services and more congregant participation.

I am the immediate past president. The synagogue is Congregation Beth
Sholom, 700 East Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY 11561. 516.889.1897.
