[HANASHIR:14518] RE: from 2001

Fran...
I was not able to be at Hava Nashira so I cannot truly know your
experience. But, I started singing your song...and wanted you to know how
beautiful I think it is. A melody just popped in my head as I read the
words!

  Hi All,

I wrote the following song, which doesn't really have a melody, VERY early
the last morning of HN my first year there. I've mostly kept it to myself
but, after being inspired by the beautiful poems from David and Judi,
decided to share it now. Thank you to everyone, both at HN this year and on
the list for the warmth, support and love you share with all of us!

  YOU ARE THE MUSIC
by Fran Uditsky Moss © 2001
written early on the last morning of Hava Nashira 2001
  in grateful thanks

  You are my heart
  You are the music
  You are my world
  You are my song
  You are the words
  You are the melody
  You are my life
  You are my song

  You lift me up
  To touch the heavens
  You'll be my wings
  My whole life long
  You are the gift
  You are the rhapsody
  You are my world
  You are my song

  And when you sing
  I hear a symphony
  And where you are
  There I belong
  The world is whole
  As you surround me here
  You are my life
  You are my song

  I see your face
  I know the answer's clear
  I hear your voice
  So sweet so strong
  You lift me up
  As you encircle me
  You are my prayer
  You are my song

  I've spent my life
  In search of other lands
  I wondered who
  Would write my song
  But now I know
That I am home at last
  This is my world
  Now I belong

  You are my heart
  You are the music
  You'll be my wings
  My whole life long
  And when you sing
  I hear a symphony
  This is my world
  This is my song
