[HANASHIR:14257] portable sound systems

with all the talk about sound systems, i just had to weigh in. my synagogue
does a lot of outdoor events, and we bought a "stagemate" from carvin. carvin
only sells directly from a catalog, over the internet, and in their factory
owned stores in southern california. don't be afraid. every major musicians
magazine which reviews guitars, amps, and sound systems sings their praises.
The stagemate operates on batteries, has an availabe stand, and you can even
get an extension speaker. it has microphone and guitar inputs, and you can
even hook a cd player up to it. a single charge runs approx 4-6 hours, and you
can also buy an auxillary battery. all that for approx $350-$700, depending on
how many options you want.

good luck
