What I do with my youngens is just use the verses from the plagues that
they can actually act out:
One morning when Pharoah awoke in his bed there were frogs in his bed
and frogs on his head. Frogs on his nose and frogs on his toes, (here
is where I allow them to start jumping around:) frogs - here - frogs -
there - frogs were jumping every-where........................ and I
hold out that chord really long......... and they have to scamper back
to their seats or places..... and then we start on verse 2 --
One morning when Pharoah awoke in his bed there were locusts in his bed
and locusts on his head -- locusts on his nose and locusts on his toes
----- (kids start to fly around like flies) - locusts here -- locusts
there --- locusts were flying
every-where.................................. then a big V7 chord and
they run back to their places again (keeps the activity
controlled)......
Some kids get gory and want to do blood, etc. I don't. I just do the
verses that they can really act out. We also do beasts and then for the
end we repeat frogs (they insist!)
Have fun,
Meris
