As list owner of Hanashir, I have consistently made the decision that the
list should default to "reply-to-list" rather than "reply-to-sender." The
whole point of an online community is for all to be able to participate in
and view the dialog. I would rather deal with the occasionally mis-directed
reply than take the chance that the community might miss out of some useful
or important response.

This puts the responsibility on each list subscriber to exercise a little
thought before hitting that send button. Make sure your reply is going where
you want it. Unless you change what's in the "to:" field, replies to
hanashir messages will go back to the list.

Well, on my other email list that shamash runs, the return address is the
sender, not the list.  Sorry for getting Rabbi Shachet's email to everyone,
but I guess the last one might work for all else as well since it has the MS
