New music for your listening pleasure at http://www.totshabbat.com ...
"Sleepytime Sh'ma" by Carol Boyd Leon
This lovely Sh'ma blessing/lullaby is perfect for young kids
to sing with mom/dad at bedtime. Both mp3 and sheet music are posted.
"Halleluyah Hoedown," by Carol Boyd Leon
Enjoyed earlier this month by the 9 combined choirs of the Washington
Area Jewish Youth Choir Festival, and at CAJE in summer 2002. Sheet music
has just been posted and the mp3 file is still available.
"Praised Be The One," by Karen Daniel
From Karen's CD "This is How We Pray," a.k.a the Blue Album, comes a
teachable, singable setting of the Bar'chu in English and Hebrew.
"Tell the Story," by Karen Daniel
Karen's setting of "Avadim Hayinu" is from the CD "Celebrate Passover,"
from Craig Taubman's wonderful "Celebrate" Series.
Many thanks to both Carol Boyd Leon and Karen Daniel for generously making
their music available to all of us.
With Pesach just around the corner...Teachers and parents, your kids can
tune in to totshabbat.com for practice with the Four Questions, Dayenu,
Chad Gadya, Go Down Moses, and the ever-popular Frog Song, plus many more.
Please join me in offering an extra prayer for the safety of all the world's
children.
