[HANASHIR:13908] "Walk Like An Egyptian" a Pesach Rap

By Suri Krieger and Eva Grayzel

Chorus: The Israelites had gone to Egypt for food
They prospered there, they multiplied and all it was good.
Along came a new Pharoah, a new Egyptian king
This Pharoah he decided to change everything.
              Go down to Egypt ( x x ) Mi'mitzrayim (3)
              Like an Egyptian !

Pharoah: These people are too many, they swarm about in waves!
Let us make them work the land and turn them into slaves!
With task masters over them they'll build us pyramids
We'll make their lives so hard, , we'll do a way with their
kids!

Narrator: Moses fled to Mideon, thru the desert sands
He tended sheep there and got to know the land.
When from a burning bush he heard a mysterious voice.
God: Moses, remove your sandles!" He had no choice.
The Lord God himself (herself) it turned out to be.
He ordered, "Go to Egypt. Set the Israelites free!"

Moses: "Blood, frogs, darkness, I name them all.
Ten plagues on Egypt will befall."
The locusts came, lice attacked animals died.
Boils, verman, wild beasts, Egyptians wailed and cried.
After each plague Pharoah said. "go, Go!"
But then he changed his mind and became again the foe.
Until the last plague took Pharoah's own first born.
Pharoah was mad! His heart was torn!
             He ordered the Israelites
Pharoah: "Get out, Go Free!" The Children of Israel began to flee.

This is a sampling. It's too long to put out the whole thing here.
