[HANASHIR:13843] Re: non-Jewish song request

Here are the chords for Right Field:

G G/F# Em
Saturday summers when I was a kid
Am D
We'd run to the schoolyard and here's what we did
          C Am C Am
We'd pick out the captains, we'd choose up the teams
              G G/F# Em
It was always a measure of my self esteem
                C Am C Am
'Cause the fastest the strongest played shortstop and first
C
The last ones they picked were the worst
C (or alternate C/Am)
I never needed to ask it was sealed
         Am D
I just took up my place in right field.
             G G/F# Em
Here in right field, it's easy to know
C
You can be awkward, you can be slow
                C D C D
G
That's why I'm here in right field just watchin' the dandelions grow.

There are two other verses which you can pull off the internet. I've
played this one a bunch of times at camp and NFTY stuff, these chords should
work pretty well. If the key is bad for you (this is the key they wrote it
in, but can be difficult to sing), then do it in C, it's a relatively easy
transposition.

Hope this helps,
Josh Goldsmith
