  My 2 shekels worth-  

  My 4 1/2 year old grandson has been ice skating for over 2 years now.  He has 
also been taking swimming for 2 years.  Does well in both.. and I am thrilled.

  Piano or guitar can start later on.  He does own a children's toy guitar.

  By the way, for those who think about drums... I believe there are pads you 
can play that sound like drums in ear phones.
