Rosalie--
Two of my grandchildren have been taking music lessons for a while.
Josh who is now eight has been playing the piano since he was 4 years
old. He is very good and loves it. His sister, Rachael who is 6
started on the cello, her choice, and is now playing the violin. She
has had music lessons since she was 4. So it really depends on the
child and the support from the family. Good luck!
