Shalom Everyone,

I don't know if many of you know that there is a huge "Anglo" folk music 
movement in Israel. English speaking Israelis get together on a regular 
basis to perform for and jam with each other. There is a welcoming house 
concert contingent and an annual folk festival which has now reached 
International standards called the Jacob's Ladder Folk Festival which will 
take place this year in May (sorry I don't have the website off hand but 
you can do a google search or subscribe to the IFS newsletter for regular 
postings).

If anyone travels to Israel, please contact Carol at the email address 
listed below and she will hook you up with the scene and the people! I've 
included the latest calender of events listings below.
