Shalom eveyone.
It's interesting to note that, for me, I have found it actually easier to
bring a guitar on a plane post 9/11. The biggest factor that used to be
prohibiting for me was the "size limiters" that many airports had installed
on their x-ray machines. Now that the Feds are in charge, I have yet to
encounter any of these size limiters in airports. The key factor in
carrying a guitar on a plane has always been the ability of the guitarist to
bring it to the gate and then "sweet talk" the gate agent into letting it get
on board. Without the size limiters, there are fewer obstacles.
On another note -- I'm about to go on a 3-month sabbatical from my
congregation combined with a tour around the country. I hope that, if I'm in
