[HANASHIR:13260] what's new at totshabbat.com

What's new at http://www.totshabbat.com ...

Tu B'Shvat-related links:

Debbie Friedman's "Plant a Tree for Tu B'Shvat" (RealAudio)
Karen Daniel's "Tu B'Shevat Cha Cha" (RealAudio)
Jeff Klepper's "I Will Plant for My Children" (sheet music, pdf)

New links added this week:

Carol Boyd Leon's "Halleluyah Hoedown" which debuted at CAJE 2002 in
San Antonio, TX. This is a home-made mp3 available nowhere else (Thanks,
Carol!)

Three tracks from the Chabad Brazil website--traditional melodies set to
funky disco-style arrangements. I'm crazy about these and so are my kids!
Fabulous for b'nai mitzvah dance parties.

Two songs from Cantor Ramon Tasat's CD "Fiesta Sefarad." These are *not*
easy sing-alongs for the preschool set, but kids will be fascinated to
hear the accented eastern rhythms of "Ki Eshmera Shabbat" and sway to the
lilting waltz "Yom Ze Le Israel."

I am often impressed by the diversity of musical styles embraced by Jews
around the world and this particular set of tracks is a prime example.
Enjoy!
